Today was the last day and in many ways it was the best day. The client was very pleased again. They told us it was "spectacular", "well done", "you've come a million miles", "fantastic job", and "I'm blown away!" This is so much better than being a "damp squid."
We left the hotel at 9:45 and took the tube to our client.
The dress code for the students seemed to be black and beige.
There was a bit a a technical glitch with connecting to our clients equipment, as they had recently upgraded. (There were also wifi inconsistencies and a blogger issue last night that prevented me from uploading this post.)
When the technical issues were fixed the presentation began.
After the presentation we heard their feedback. Planned for next steps - yes, the course is over, but the project will continue for a bit. Then, as is tradition, the client took us over to a local pub and we celebrated all the work over these last 5 weeks.
The students are now done with the course. Many parents are in town and students are off to Spain, Italy, Denmark, and India. Those returning to the US leave on Sunday Morning.
It has been a good trip. So great to be able to get back to the UK after the pandemic break and have the students participate in this real world design experience.
Serendipitously, this question appeared on Jeopardy this week. The answer is Liverpool, where the other dock named after Albert is located.
